At present, filter cloth are widely used in various industries as an important filtration media including mine, coal, metallurgy, chemical and printing and other related industries where solid-liquid separation is essential.

The classification of filter cloth

At present, our main products are woven and non-woven (felt) filter cloth. Most are fabricated by synthetic fabrics such as polyester, polypropylene, nylon and vinylon as well as natural fabric like cotton. To reach special filtration effect, monofilament, multifilament and spun yarns are woven into plain, twill and stain pattern.

To guarantee filter cloth quality, surface quality, attachment and shapes are vital elements.

Synthetic fabrics should be treated by calenders to provide smooth and compact surface for permeability and stability.

Attachments of filter cloth have various methods including stitching and welding to provide durable and reliable constructions. Peg eyelets and rod suspension are used to carry the weight of filter cake. Side tie eyelets and reinforced holes are designed to keep the cloth flat and precise position.

Cloth shapes are designed by CAD software according to customers’ special usage. Laser cutters are used to provide exact size.
